Meet Nishtha Dudeja Who Becomes First Indian To Win Miss Deaf Asia 2018

Nishtha Dudeja from Haryana Becomes First Indian To Win Miss Deaf Asia 2018, She is the one name for inspiration and determination to face anything in life, Nishtha Dudeja is a multi-talented girl with commendable achievements in education, sports, art and culture. 

She is an inspiration and role model for the present generation. She is pursuing M.A. (Economics) from Mithibhai College at present.

Nishtha suffering from severe profound hearing loss (100% deafness) in both ears since birth, had to work very hard with speech therapy in her childhood, to develop her speech.

She is the first Indian to win title  Miss Deaf Asia 2018 at Miss and Mister Deaf World - Europe - Asia Beauty Pageant 2018 held at Prague, the Czech Republic on 29th September.

She faced very tough competition from the contestants of China, Thailand, Taiwan, Israel, Czech Republic, Belarus, Mexico, South Africa, etc.

Nishtha Dudeja awarded the National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disability in the category of Role Model for being a multi-talented personality. The award is presented by our Honble Vice President of India on 3rd December 2018 in a function held in Vigyan Bhawan.

After winning the Pageant, Nishtha posted on her Instagram page @nishtha_dudeja Thank you INDIA. Your love and affection have brought me to this stage of getting Miss Deaf Asia 2018 Crown. I am so grateful to the people of my beautiful country for their blessings. I dedicate this crown to my family. On this occasion, I want to convey that the differently-abled people dont need sympathy or pity. All they need are opportunities to prove themselves. Jai Hind!

She was a very determined child and her parents always supported her in every endeavour. Her parents sent her to a normal school and college. Nishtha Dudeja adjusted herself with other students withstanding all the peer pressure during her studies. Never fear your disability She made her disability an advantage.

Nishtha Dudeja worked very hard on the development of her linguistic skills. She topped her school in the subject of Hindi in Class XII by scoring 93% marks in her CBSE exam. She also scored 93% marks in English in the same exam.

Nishtha has now been jury in many fashion events and shows and she has also won many titles after this major title, Nishtha continues to make India proud by all these laurels.
