The late filmmaker Raj Kaushal’s funeral took place shortly after at a funeral ground in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, Dadar.
Raj’s friend, actor Ashish Choudhary, was seen paying his respects at his home Rama in Bandra, Mumbai.
Onir, a filmmaker and a good friend of Raj Kaushal showed his condolences by tweeting, “Gone too soon. We lost Filmmaker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad.
He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”
In a social media post, actor Rohit Roy, “One of the nicest guys you could ever have met… and if u were lucky, u could have called him your friend… And just like that, he’s gone, even without saying goodbye too numb with grief and shock to react… This is not fair, just not fair… Raj, my friend, my brother… keep spreading the cheer where ever your next abode is…”
In 1999, Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal married. The couple had two children Tara and Vir. Tara was born in the year 2020, and they decided to adopt her. “Our little girl, Tara, has come to us as a gift from above.” Sister to her Vir for four years and a half, with twinkling eyes like stars.
