We had a detailed conversation with Dr. Rama Srivastava, who is Masters in Human development from Lady Irwin College, Delhi, and a Doctorate in Psychology. With numerous recognitions and achievements in the field covering the last 24 years in Delhi.

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava to introduce herself in 10 words, she replied, aI am women who believe in values, competence, achievements, almighty, and most important I am passionately dedicated towards my thoughts and dreams.a

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava if shead like to share any childhood memories with us, to this she mentions one of her memory, saying, aMy father has been my role model, mentor and the best friend in my entire childhood memories. I cherish the time spent with my parents as their loving daughter. She further said aI remember the outings that I used to have as formal occasions during the tenure of my father as Secretary to Government of India and Chairman of Central Electricity Authority. When I used to see my dad being called the IRON MAN OF THE MINISTRY OF POWER, from there I decided to be a woman of substance in my lifea.

Sharing about her father she added that he has worked passionately, honestly throughout his career, and even after retirement, he worked passionately for the community, friends, relatives, and us. Seeing a perfect role model as a father, Dr. Rama never had any confusion in structuring her life and her thoughts.a

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava if shead like to like to share about her family, she said, aMy family is a simple, traditional, and high achiever. It has a legacy of achievements, success, and culture. It believes in disciplines, being sorted, and being passionate about dreams. My family has always welcomed my unconventional ideas and helped me shape them with the warm hands of values and boundaries. My mother has been a homemaker and my mother in law was a leading Gynecologistsa of Lucknow. They both gave the best of both worlds.

In my family looking up to my father who has been a very highly placed government official as Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Power, and Chairman of the Central Electricity Authority. He has been my perfect role model. Never had any confusion in life when it came to decision-making. I used to think aHow dad would have decided aI did the same.

He has been my role model since childhood has seen him performing so high in government and society. He has been a mentor and role model for so many. I have always wanted to be his shadow and be somewhere like him.

I got married while I was studying. Mine being a conservative family, we were not given time to settle down and then marry. Fortunately, My husband was very supportive during my further higher studies. He always stood like an iron pillar and helped me crave my profession smoothly. My husband is a very unconventional and highly placed Technocrat from the software industry. He believes that dreams can be achieved through passion, which kept me going on and on.

When I became a mother, then my identity had a beautiful dimension. My daughter has given me a new identity of being a beautiful passionate mother. She has been my inspiration in my writing journey and so many new endeavors of life.a She is from a top brand academic institution in Delhi. Her circle and friends have been my energy drink on my low mood days. Being her mother is the Identity that is the closest to my heart. Rest others just follows.

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava to share something about your personal life and relationships, she stated, aI have always believed in having transparent, clear, straight, passionate, value governed bonds. Most important every relationship should be heart and emotions governed. I donat believe in namesake bonds.a aI have also believed in forgiving my enemies and even brutal friends/relatives, as I believe forgiveness gives peace and connects to almighty his divinity a.

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava about her entrepreneurial journey? Give us a brief about your education, awards, and recognitions you were honoured with, to this she said, aI have studied in Delhi all through. I have done my Masters in Human development from Lady Irwin College, Delhi, and a Doctorate in Psychology. Since then working with various government, Non-governmental organizations, panels, schools, and as a freelancer. Doing therapeutic counselling, writing, and research in the area of women, students, and human development.

Recently have published my first book titled aThe journey of an Indian girl, Search for an Identity. It is doing well as it has a small reading time and gives scientific solutions and techniques to handle our Indian Patriarchy and issues of infertility through Adoption. Itas a guide for passionate winner girls.

Her series of books are in pipeline and soon shall be available on shelf.

For the last 22 years I am running my own NGO and successfully working for the community women, students, and with issues like girl child, Infertility, adoption, and so forth. Have written numerous articles and researched the mentioned areas.

Have been on a Panel on schools with a strong commitment to studentas mental health.

During the Pandemic, I have made a team of women warriors by the name of Sakhi. These are women Covid warriors working along with me towards the mental health issues during the massive pandemic.a

During Pandemic we also aim to work with COVID ORPHANS and their rehabilitation in the society as mental health specialist.

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava to tell us how life has treated her, she responded, aLife has given me situations where I could learn and come up with solutions.

Life has been a beautiful journey of ups and downs for me.

It has treated me with challenges, unexpected turns, gifted ruthless enemies rather brutal enemies, and also beautiful friends and family.

Life, in short, has been like Fire and Ice and a beautiful passionate friend.a

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava about her plans and any wish she wants to complete, she mentioned, aI see myself as a professional sound writer and a psychologist who is a role model for women of our society.

We donat groom our daughters boldly, neither train them to be self-reliant and handle challenging situations. I know life for girls and women is not a bed of roses. So I want to develop the women and girls of our society so that they can handle the situations with tough yet soft/tender hands.

I want to tell women and girls that situations would be both favourable and unfavourable but itas the inner strength and trust in almighty that helps us sail through. My future vision is to make women and girls competent enough to handle the Indian Patriarchal society with scientific techniques and come up as a winner.

Most important I want to spread the power of Adoption as a powerful solution for infertility. It is a beautiful bond of heart and a situation where two people who need each other form a lifelong bond through the heart and live happily. It is one of my very important targets for the community.a

My Aim in brief is to develop a new version of women, through Dr. Ramaas Passionate Mantras for life. The 10 pointers:

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava about her favorite vacations and movies, she replied, aI love spending time with my family at home itas my favorite vacation. I love Aandhi, Silsila, Aarth, Hindi medium.a

Chatting with younger generation and knowing them more deeply and feeling their love and passion is also my energy booster. My daughteras friends and her famous academic institution has always been my favourite energy booster and mood lifter.

When we asked Dr. Rama Srivastava about what advice or a message would you say to all youth of the country, she said, aLive your life with Commitment, discipline, Love, and complete surrender to almighty. Once you are sorted and have a vision for life the rest follows.

Most important in case of issues of infertility do opt for Adoption. It is a beautiful situation where two people who need each other develop a bond through the heart. That too lifelong. Love your life and develop bonds through the heart. Do not depend on bonds for namesake or only blood.

At the professional front, my vision and mission are to make girls/women competent by providing scientific techniques to handle the Indian Patriarchy.

I also want to spread among the community that Adoption is the birth through the heart and it is a bond where two people who need each other get together and form a lifelong bond.

My motto in life is to provide all possible techniques to women and girls so that they can handle the Indian Patriarchy with grace, maturity, passion, and confidence.

My passionate writings and therapeutic counselling should reach the community and women should no more be AHSAY ABLA NARI in our patriarchy.

Last but not least I also aim to target the issues of infertility among women and provide a vision to them, to how to handle it with grace and maturity.a
